The Legends Reno-Tahoe Open PGA TOUR is scheduled for August 3-9, 2008 at Montrêux Golf & Country Club in Reno and is broadcast nationally on the Golf Channel. Now in its eleventh year, the tournament is the only PGA TOUR event in northern Nevada and features a field of 132 PGA TOUR professionals competing for a $3 million purse. The Legends Reno-Tahoe Open is operated and managed by the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation a 501 (c) (3) non profit corporation comprised of its foundation members including the Eldorado Hotel Casino, Montrêux Development Group, Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, Sierra Pacific Resources and Employers Insurance Group.
Recognized as one of the players favorite stops on the PGA TOUR, the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open strives to create a first class tournament for our spectators, local and national corporate business partners, PGA TOUR players and our volunteers.
