Spectator Information-Course Policies and Etiquette.
We hope you will enjoy the opportunity to get close to some of the world's best golfers. This page contains everything you need and will be useful to answer some frequently asked questions about the tournament. This will allow you to get the most of your experience as a spectator at this year's Legends Reno-Tahoe Open.
Suggested Golf Attire
Appropriate casual golf wear with comfortable walking shoes. Spectators should have these items on hand: Windbreaker, hat/visor, sunscreen, sunglasses.
On Course Concessions
Concessions on course include sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, fresh fruit, pastries, wraps, soft drinks, coffee, beer and wine. In addition, there is a public dining tent located in "The Bear Trap" behind the 16th green and additional tables available on the hometown hole number #9. We also have four wine walk sampling stations throughout the golf course. All suites and the Silver Peak VIP Pavilion have extensive full service food and beverage selections. If you are interested in the wine walk or VIP Pavilion tickets please contact the tournament office for additional information.
Prohibited Items:
The following items are prohibited during tournament play. Please NO mobile phones, outside food and beverages or coolers, cameras or video cameras (Thursday-Sunday), firearms, radios, portable media devices, signs or banners or bags larger than a small purse. This includes camera bags, backpacks and folding chair bags. Spectator chairs are allowed but we ask that they be removed from their carrying bag if applicable.
Autograph Policy:
Please be advised that players do NOT give autographs during tournament play. We do not have a designated autograph area and ask that you please be cordial in your attempt for autographs. Players are usually more receptive at the conclusion of play.
Golf Etiquette
Stay quiet and stand still when the players are about to hit the ball Hands in the air mean stop and be quiet while the golfers are playing their shots.
Never cross fairways except at designated crossover area marked by signage.
Help patrons be considerate of each other and kneel or sit down whenever possible to allow better viewing for those behind you.
For your own safety, follow the directions of the tournament marshals
Spectators will be removed immediately without warning for:
Refusal to obey quiet signs or signals
Distracting or embarrassing a player
Making rude, vulgar, or other inappropriate comments or gestures toward a player
Booing or cheering.
